Connemara National Park is located in the homonymous region, in the county of Galway.
You immediately notice that you’re inside Connemara, since the landscape radically changes: while driving, we meet nobody else on the road, we are surrounded by meadows, peat bogs, pastures and mountains. We are immediately enraptured by this unique view, never seen anywhere else in the world. For this reason, when we see that inside the park there are many paths with different difficulty levels and duration, we decide to climb Diamond Hill completely. The path is well indicated and feasible, but pretty tiring particularly in the final part. However, the view makes us forget effort and shortness of breath immediately.
