The Grand Palace has been the official residence of Thai kings since more than two centuries. Like the other main attractions of Bangkok, this one also is a group of numerous buildings, including Wat Phra Kaew, that is the Emerald Buddha’s Temple. We find our peaceful spot, away from the swarms of tourists and the wearing heat, in a shaded area near a temple, where the access is not permitted to us, in which a religious function is taking place.
